The auto recycling industry is unique in its rich legacy of passing down ownership from generation to generation. In 1976, B Auto Parts' founder Steve Barzoff handed down the business reins to his son Charlie. Likewise, in 1996, Charlie brought his son, Dave, into the business.

Dave used the knowledge and experience of a new generaation to expand and improve the family business.

Greg Freeman, the 2006 President of QRP-Midwest, has worked closely with the younger Barzoff, the group's 2007 president. "Dave is an energectic, dedicated and extremely talented man who was instrumental in developing our QRP transportation network," he said.

B Auto Parts was awarded ARA CAR and Gold Seal certification in 2006, which recognizes quality business and environmental practices.
