In order to better serve the needs of our customers,
B Auto Parts' truck shop opened a remanufactured axle
division in 2004. The increasing difficulty in locating
CV joints in retail parts stores and the ease of replacing
the axle assembly in most vehicles encouraged this new
venture.
Nowadays it is relatively standard procedure to replace
a faulty unit with complete new or remanufactured axle
with the boots installed and prelubricated. This process
cuts down drastically on repair time and cost and avoids
the mess of nasty axle grease.
Our remanufactured axles are all cleaned in a steam
bath before being inspected, regrinding all of the grooves
in both the inner and outer halves of the joint to specifications
and replacing the cage and ball bearings. These remanufactured
parts are virtually comparable to new for a fraction
of the price.
